M.I.: ‘À la poubelle’

From December 16, 2023 to February 16, 2024, M.I. exhibits in Café Bern a collection of drawings of trash cans and dust bins of all sizes and types under the title ‘À la poubelle‘.
Please feel free to drop by. From 4:00-6:00 p.m. you can come and see the exhibition at your ease. Or late at night, after 11:00 p.m., when the rather busy dinner time has finished and a lovely relaxed “after hours” atmosphere has descended on Café Bern.

M.I.
M.I. is an Amsterdam based artist who currently works in film.
However, her artistic journey has taken an unexpected turn as she now creates intriguing drawings and paintings from trashcans.
Through repurposing these seemingly mundane objects, M.I. has found a way to convey a unique message about really seeing everyday objects and reinterpreting its purpose.
